Flip Education Center is excited to offer “Summer Study Sessions” for summer 2022!
There are two sessions available in August. Each session is 5 days long with 2 hour/day* of class time; 10 hours total per session. 定員4人 per session. Cost: ￥11,000/person per session.
There are two courses offered for both of the Summer Study Sessions: “Jump into Reading!” and “英検 Test Preparation”.

Let’s increase your reading skills!
Let’s use “Teach Your Monster to Read”, phonic games, and books to rapidly increase your reading ability!
“Jump into Reading” is a week-long summer study session for 1-6th grade elementary school students to improve their reading ability. There are two sessions available in August, with three different levels depending on your current ability.

夏期講習で英文読解力を身につけませんか？
i-Padの教材”Teach Your Monster to Read” (“モンスターに読み方を教えよう！”)を使って、
フォニックスゲームや短い本を読む練習をしながら、短期間でより流暢に英文を読めるように、
そして読解力が付くようになります。
自分の今の実力にあったレベルからスタートします。
Available Levels
Level 1
Phonics to learn letters and sounds.
Level 2
Letter-sound combinations and easy sentences.
Level 3
Read short sentences and stories.
(Level assigned based on current ability)

Prepare for the Eiken in English!

Let us help you prepare!
Each “Eiken Test Preparation” will cover the important grammar needed for the test, and includes writing and listening practice.
Any level of Eiken Test Preparation is welcome!

Meet the Teacher!
Mark Rowdon has taught English for four years to students ranging from kids to adults. During this time he has taught over 4,000 private, one-on-one lessons, with lessons specializing in conversational abilities, grammar skills, and reading comprehension. His goal is for his students to have fun while improving their English comprehension and working towards their personal goals.
In his free time he enjoys watching sports, playing board games, and going on walks.
Mark has a B.S. in Nursing from George Mason University, as well as a Teaching English as Second Language Certification from Ontesol.
