Cue Cards | Flip Japan

Cue cards are a great way to introduce vocabulary.

Cue cards also provide students with information/answers so that learning new phrases is easier. For example, if the question is, “What fruit do you like?” provide cue cards printed with various types of fruit. This way, no time is wasted with students trying to overly think about what kind of fruit they like.

When working in pairs, students answer with the information on their card. When finished, students exchange cards and then move on to talk with other students.
